After a wildly successful debut earlier this year, Dark Masquerade will return to the historic Queen Mary for a special Friday the 13th weekend engagement. The immersive after-hours experience is produced by Thirteenth Floor Entertainment Group and expands the mythology of the popular Dark Harbor universe.

Originally launched as a limited February event tied to Valentine’s Day weekend, Dark Masquerade quickly reached capacity, prompting organizers to bring the experience back for fans who missed its first run.

The event transforms the Queen Mary into a late-night masquerade gathering where guests move between music, storytelling encounters, and character-driven scenes set throughout the ship. Attendees begin with The Ringmaster’s Dark Masquerade, a dance party led by the Ringmaster and performers while a live DJ keeps the energy moving beneath chandeliers and fog.

Beyond the dance floor, several interactive experiences unfold in the ship’s lower decks. Gale’s Requiem invites guests into a rarely accessed area of the vessel for an atmospheric performance combining music and immersive storytelling. The Search for Mary guides participants through dim corridors with only a glow stick as they pursue the mischievous character Scary Mary. Meanwhile, Sweethearts’ Slaughterhouse blends themed food elements with live character interaction inside a stylized kitchen setting.

VIP guests receive expedited entry along with access to an exclusive experience titled Pressure Test: Bound Below, where participants face a sensory challenge tied to the Queen Mary’s industrial spaces and the character Half Hatch Henry.

The event features Dark Harbor’s well-known characters and cast but does not include the full maze lineup typically seen during the fall season. Instead, the focus is on intimate encounters and story-driven scenes set throughout the ship.

Dark Masquerade is a 21+ experience, with tickets starting at $59 plus fees. Guests must present a valid government-issued ID for entry.
