The time-bending action horror feature Demon Hunter: Time 2 Kill, written and directed by Zoe Kavanagh, is heading to US audiences on July 7, 2026 through X4 Pictures on both digital and physical media.
The film follows Taryn Barker (Niamh Hogan, Vikings: Valhalla, Feed), a wise-cracking demon hunter on the trail of the Necrox, an ancient and coveted artifact. Standing between her and the prize is Elysia Cronika (Lisa Wilcox, A Nightmare on Elm Street 4 & 5), the cold-blooded CEO of Illumini Industries and leader of the Stygian Cult. After Taryn dismantles Cronika’s demonic forces, Cronika retaliates by sending her back to 1987. Stranded in the past, Taryn must protect a group of teenagers from a slasher named Lucien Krull while hunting down the Necrox and figuring out how to claw her way back to the present — all at once.
Kavanagh, who also serves as producer through Up On Blue Bridge Productions, wrote and directed the film. The casting of Lisa Wilcox — who faced Freddy Krueger in back-to-back Nightmare sequels — gives the film immediate genre credibility, and the combination of demon-hunting mythology, time-travel mechanics, and slasher terror promises a film that knows its audience and plays to them.
Demon Hunter: Time 2 Kill arrives July 7, 2026 on digital and physical media via X4 Pictures.
