New Line Cinema has released the official trailer for Evil Dead Burn, the next chapter in the long-running Evil Dead franchise, arriving exclusively in theaters on July 10, 2026. The film comes from director Sébastien Vaniček (Infested) and promises to be, in the studio’s own words, the franchise’s most savage and terrifying entry yet.

Evil Dead Burn follows a grieving woman who seeks solace with her in-laws at their secluded family home after losing her husband. What begins as a mournful retreat turns into something far worse when, one by one, her in-laws are overtaken by the Deadites — turning a family gathering into a blood-soaked reunion from hell. The film leans hard into the franchise’s core mythology while adding a new emotional hook: the vows she made in life may bind her to something far beyond death.

Vaniček — whose debut feature Infested turned a Paris apartment building into one of the most effective claustrophobic horror settings in recent memory — brings a fresh and reportedly unflinching perspective to the Deadite universe. The cast is led by Souheila Yacoub, joined by Tandi Wright, Hunter Doohan (Wednesday), Luciane Buchanan, Errol Shand, Maude Davey, George Pullar, and Greta Van Den Brink. Credits are not yet final.
Evil Dead Burn is a New Line Cinema release from Warner Bros. It follows the 2023 installment Evil Dead Rise, which grossed over $145 million worldwide and reinvigorated the franchise for a new generation of fans.
