A new poster has been released for Scary Movie, marking the return of the long-running parody franchise to theaters on June 5, 2026. Presented by Paramount Pictures in association with Miramax, the film brings back several original cast members alongside new additions.

Set twenty-six years after their first encounter with a masked killer reminiscent of Ghostface, the story reunites the Core Four as they once again find themselves targeted. Marlon Wayans, Shawn Wayans, Anna Faris, and Regina Hall reprise their roles, joined by a cast that includes Kenan Thompson, Dave Sheridan, and Lochlyn Munro.

The latest installment continues the franchise’s approach to parody, taking aim at a wide range of horror trends and film conventions. From reboots and sequels to so-called “final chapters,” the film positions itself as a broad commentary on modern genre filmmaking.

Directed by Michael Tiddes and written by members of the Wayans family alongside Rick Alvarez, the project also features producers Rick Alvarez, Craig Wayans, Marlon Wayans, and Shawn Wayans. Executive producers include Jonathan Glickman, Thom Zadra, Alexandra Loewy, and Marsha L. Swinton.
