Warner Bros. Pictures has shared an exclusive new clip for Evil Dead Burn, the next entry in the franchise, arriving in U.S. theaters on July 10, 2026. Directed by Sébastien Vaniček (Infested) and produced by Sam Raimi and Rob Tapert, the film is the third standalone chapter in the rebooted Evil Dead series, following Evil Dead (2013) and Evil Dead Rise (2023).
The film’s official synopsis: After losing her husband, a woman seeks comfort at her in-laws’ remote home — but when they’re turned into Deadites one by one, the family reunion becomes a hellish nightmare. Soon she realizes that the promises she made herself in life matter… even in death. It’s a story rooted in grief and family obligation, with the Deadite infestation arriving not as random evil but as a perversion of the very relationships meant to provide comfort.
Vaniček co-wrote the screenplay with Florent Bernard. The cast is led by Souheila Yacoub (Dune: Part Two) as Alice, alongside Hunter Doohan (Wednesday), Luciane Buchanan (The Night Agent), Tandi Wright (Pearl), Erroll Shand, Maude Davey, George Pullar, Edgar Price, Keanu Karim, and Victory Ndukwe. Philip Lozano (Infested) serves as cinematographer.
Produced by Raimi and Tapert through Ghost House Pictures — with Bruce Campbell and Lee Cronin serving as executive producers — Evil Dead Burn was filmed in New Zealand and is co-financed by New Line Cinema, Screen Gems, and Sony Pictures. Warner Bros. handles domestic distribution; Sony Pictures Releasing International covers most international territories, with StudioCanal UK and Metropolitan Filmexport distributing in the UK and France, respectively.
“I told the studio that I wanted to make a nasty film, a film that hurts, from which you come away tested,” Vaniček said of the project.
Evil Dead Burn opens in U.S. theaters on July 10, 2026.
