New Line Cinema has set July 10, 2026 as the theatrical release date for Evil Dead Burn, the franchise’s newest chapter and the follow-up to the 2023 hit Evil Dead Rise. Director Sébastien Vaniček takes the helm for what promises to be the most savage entry in the long-running Evil Dead saga.

Evil Dead Burn centers on a woman who, still reeling from the loss of her husband, retreats to the solace of her in-laws’ secluded family home. What begins as a grief-stricken attempt at connection quickly turns into something far more horrific. One by one, her family members are transformed into Deadites, turning an already fraught family reunion into a waking nightmare. As the carnage escalates, she discovers that the vows she took in life carry an unholy weight — even in death.

Vaniček, who made a strong horror impression with the French arachnophobia thriller Vermines (released in the U.S. as Infested), directs a cast led by Souheila Yacoub alongside Tandi Wright, Hunter Doohan, Luciane Buchanan, Errol Shand, Maude Davey, George Pullar, and Greta Van Den Brink. An official trailer is forthcoming.

The Evil Dead franchise has remained one of horror’s most enduring properties since Sam Raimi’s original 1981 film, and recent years have seen the series successfully revived with fresh creative voices while honoring its roots in relentless, blood-soaked terror. Evil Dead Rise (2023), directed by Lee Cronin, grossed over $67 million worldwide; Evil Dead Burn will be looking to build on that momentum.

Evil Dead Burn opens exclusively in theaters on July 10, 2026. Follow the film on social media for further updates, including the official trailer debut.
