Cineverse has announced that Odyssey, a tense crime thriller that earned rave notices on the festival circuit, will debut on digital and Video on Demand on April 28, 2026. The film was an official selection of SXSW, Edinburgh International Film Festival, Fright Fest, L’Etrange Festival, and Strasbourg Film Festival.

Odyssey follows Natasha Flynn, a London real estate agent whose lavish lifestyle is built on borrowed money and high-stakes risk. When her lenders come calling in the worst possible way, she’s forced into a criminal arrangement that pulls her deeper into the city’s shadowy underworld. Survival demands compromise — and every choice she makes raises the cost of getting out.
Polly Maberly (Pride and Prejudice, Foyle’s War) leads the cast as Natasha, joined by Mikael Persbrandt (The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug, In a Better World), Guy Burnet (Oppenheimer, Ray Donovan), Jasmine Blackborow (The Gentlemen, Marie Antoinette), Daniel De Bourg (MobLand, Fountain of Youth), Peter Ferdinando (Ghost in the Shell, King Arthur: Legend of the Sword), Kellie Shirley (In the Long Run), and Sarah Beck Mather (Deep Cover, The Moment). The film is directed by Gerard Johnson (Hyena, Tony) and written by Austin Collings.
Cineverse — the studio behind the breakout success of Terrifier 3, the franchise revivals of The Toxic Avenger and Return to Silent Hill, and the forthcoming Wolf Creek: Legacy — continues to build a roster of sharp, genre-minded features. Odyssey fits squarely in that lineage: a gripping, London-set thriller that clearly earned its place on Fright Fest’s screen.
Odyssey hits digital and VOD platforms on April 28, 2026.
