Untouchables Entertainment has released the first teaser for Glenn Douglas Packard’s upcoming horror crossover The Dark Domain: Mickey-vs-Winnie, offering an initial glimpse at Dark Winnie, a reimagined version of A.A. Milne’s classic character. Actor Givanni Gotay takes on the role, marking the project’s first official look at this public-domain icon in a horror setting.

Joining the cast is Fayna Sanchez (Abraham’s Boys, House of Ashes) as Clare, a character driven to protect her friends from the dangers tied to their past. The film continues the recent trend of transforming well-known children’s figures into terrifying on-screen forces, positioning itself as the first public domain crossover horror feature.

Set in the Hell Forest, Mickey-vs-Winnie reimagines Steamboat Willie’s Mickey and Milne’s Winnie-the-Pooh as Dark Mickey and Dark Winnie—violent adversaries locked in an escalating fight for survival. Daniel Wilkinson (Pitchfork) portrays Dark Mickey alongside Gotay’s Dark Winnie, as the pair unleash chaos on a group of childhood friends drawn back to the forest and the abandoned reform school at its center.

Packard, known for his work on Pitchfork and E!’s Men of the Strip, describes the film as the launch of a new cinematic universe, The Dark Domain. He emphasizes the production’s commitment to physical effects and intense practical work, noting that the team even incorporated a body-piercing suspension artist to heighten the atmosphere on set.

Co-creator D. Phillips and Packard shaped their characters with clear genre influences, describing Dark Winnie as “Jason Voorhees levels up into the Predator” and Dark Mickey as a blend of “Pennywise meets Freddy Krueger.”

The Dark Domain: Mickey-vs-Winnie is slated to premiere in 2026.
