RZE Studio has unveiled the first official teaser, The Ceremony of Death, for YNCCUTH, a new animated horror film written and directed by Lukas Reznicek. The teaser premiered on Halloween and offers an early glimpse into Reznicek’s immersive, otherworldly vision that blends horror, fantasy, and science fiction elements.
Inspired in part by the world of Reznicek’s game project Bukkaku, YNCCUTH marks a major creative milestone for the filmmaker. Reznicek personally oversees every stage of production—from storyboarding and illustration to animation and design—crafting a universe defined by both its harshness and visual complexity. The film explores a planet of clashing life forms and fractured civilizations, where beauty and brutality coexist across hostile landscapes and shifting moons.
Reznicek’s commitment to full creative control aims to produce a distinct cinematic experience that merges dark storytelling with intricate design. As the project develops, additional visuals and character reveals are expected to highlight the evolving tone and style of YNCCUTH.
