Two Witches Films has announced that the horror feature Frankie, Maniac Woman will arrive in select theaters on April 24, 2026. The film first premiered at Grimmfest 2025, where star Dina Silva received the award for Best Actress.

Directed by Pierre Tsigaridis, the film centers on aspiring singer-songwriter Frankie Ramirez, played by Silva, whose life begins to unravel under the weight of childhood trauma, internalized misogyny, and the relentless image pressures of the Los Angeles music industry. As those pressures build, Frankie’s breaking point leads to violent consequences.

Tsigaridis described the project as a character-driven slasher that explores both brutality and vulnerability. “With Frankie, Maniac Woman, we set out to create a serial killer story that is chaotic and intimate… a slasher with a soul,” he said, noting the film blends dark humor with moments of violence while examining the forces that push its central character beyond her limits.

For Silva, the role carried personal significance. “Frankie’s story speaks to the pressure women face to fit impossible standards,” she said. “She represents every version of myself that felt unseen, judged, or pushed aside.” Known for comedic work, Silva said the film gave her the opportunity to explore the tension between humor and darker themes.

Frankie, Maniac Woman is directed by Tsigaridis and co-written and produced by Tsigaridis and Silva, who also serves as executive producer. The cast includes Stefanie Estes (Josephine, Soft and Quiet), Tim Fox (Westworld), Jordan Debarge (Squid Game: The Challenge), Rocío de la Grana (Moxie), Pierre Tsigaridis (Traumatika), and Daniella Mendoza (The Entity).

The film will open in select theaters beginning April 24, 2026.
