The round-based PvP party game Haunted Heist is part of this year’s Steam Scream Fest lineup and is marking the occasion with a new patch. Released earlier this month, the game has already racked up more than 70,000 hours watched on Twitch.

In Haunted Heist, a team of Heisters tries to rob a mansion while Tricksters do everything in their power to stop them. The game blends silliness and scares, and it holds a very positive review average on Steam.
The Steam Scream patch adds two limited-edition skins, the Superhero Heister and the Scarecrow Trickster, which will be available until November 9, 2026. It also introduces experimental lobbies for nine to 10 players, up from the original maximum of eight, along with several quality-of-life upgrades. Those include a recent players list and the ability for Tricksters to throw plucked Heisters, which stops Heisters from spamming left click to shoot Tricksters the moment they are released.
The developers have also assembled a press kit of streamer clips showing how the game plays with creators, and the team is available for interviews.
