Black Mandala has announced Hollywood Hells, a psychological horror thriller written and directed by Ben Peyser that examines ambition and power within the entertainment industry.
The film stars Fernanda Romero and Brian Austin Green, alongside Bertila Damas, Naturela, and Benjamin Fisher.
At the center of the story is Vega, a struggling actress and single mother living in Los Angeles. While trying to build a career and raise her young son, Vega faces pressure from both the industry and her family. When she receives an unexpected invitation to an exclusive Hollywood gathering, she sees it as an opportunity to connect with powerful figures who might change the trajectory of her career.
What begins as a promising evening gradually reveals a more disturbing reality. As Vega moves deeper into the world of Hollywood’s elite, she begins to realize that success may require far more than talent or determination. Over the course of the night, the pursuit of opportunity becomes something more dangerous as Vega confronts the darker forces operating behind the industry’s polished image.
Hollywood Hells aims to blend psychological tension and satire while exploring the cost of ambition within a system built on image, influence, and desire. The film features cinematography by Andrea Mezquida-Torrent and is produced by Bruna Rubio.
