At Silver Scream Con, the annual fan convention hosted by Ice Nine Kills, frontman Spencer Charnas revealed the band’s official collaboration with the upcoming horror sequel Terrifier 3. The announcement came alongside franchise star David Howard Thornton, who portrays Art the Clown. The band’s new single, “A Work of Art,” will be featured in Terrifier 3, which is set to hit theaters nationwide on October 11th.
Spencer Charnas expressed his excitement, stating, “The Terrifier franchise gave us Art the Clown, the greatest new horror icon in decades. We are beyond honored by the invitation to play within the viciously delightful universe Damien Leone and his incredible team have created.”
The highly anticipated music video for “A Work of Art” will debut at Fantastic Fest on September 19th, following the world premiere of Terrifier 3. Fans will also be able to catch it in select AMC theaters on October 10th during early showings of the film. Directed by longtime Ice Nine Kills collaborator Jensen Noen, the video stars Terrifier alumni Catherine Corcoran, Leah Voysey, and several notable names in the metal community, including Shavo Odadjian of System Of A Down and Richard Christy.
The video’s special effects are handled by Emmy Award-winning artist Christopher Nelson, further heightening the horror experience. Charnas, who co-wrote the video alongside Andrew Justin Smith, emphasized the importance of the collaboration between the band and Terrifier’s creators, marking a unique crossover between the horror and music worlds.
