Movie Park Germany has announced Jason Universe as a new horror house coming to this year’s Halloween Horror Festival, bringing one of film history’s most iconic slashers to European audiences for the first time in a fully immersive haunt setting. The attraction expands the Friday the 13th franchise’s reach to an international scale just in time for Halloween.

With “Jason Universe,” Movie Park Germany steps into the Friday the 13th legacy head-on, constructing what the park describes as a maze built to honor decades of Voorhees mythology. Horror, Inc. — the rights-holding company behind the franchise — partnered directly with the park to bring the attraction to life.

“Partnering with Movie Park to bring Jason Voorhees to life in this fantastic maze is incredible, especially as this allows us to serve fans at an international scale,” said Robbie Barsamian, Executive Vice President at Horror, Inc. “It gives our horror fans in Europe an unforgettable way to step inside the legacy they’ve obsessed over for decades.”

The Jason Universe horror house will be part of Movie Park Germany’s full Halloween Horror Festival 2026 programming. The festival is one of Germany’s premier Halloween theme park events, drawing genre fans from across Europe each fall.
