Lionsgate is releasing an exclusive 4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray + Digital Steelbook edition of Sorority Row on September 15, marking the slasher classic’s first-ever 4K presentation. The limited edition set features Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos audio, new bonus content, and artwork by Vance Kelly.
The 2009 film follows the sisters of Theta Pi — Cassidy (Briana Evigan), Chugs (Margo Harshman), Jessica (Leah Pipes), Ellie (Rumer Willis), and Claire (Jamie Chung) — who vow silence after a prank ends in tragedy for one of their own. When graduation arrives, so does a killer, hunting the sorority sisters one by one. With Carrie Fisher in a supporting role.
Stewart Hendler directs from a screenplay by Josh Stolberg and Peter Goldfinger. The 4K Steelbook is a Lionsgate Limited exclusive and includes newly produced bonus features alongside the classic legacy content: “Reconsidering Sorority Row,” “The Making of a Queen B***h with Leah Pipes,” and “Loyal Friends and Untimely Ends: Writing Sorority Row,” in addition to audio commentary with the director and cast, deleted scenes, outtakes, and both the theatrical and international trailers.
