STOP WHAT YOU ARE DOING!  Do I have your attention now? Good. The new teaser trailer for Kuso dropped just ahead of its Sundance Film Festival screening this weekend and it looks AMAZING!

I would say this borders on NSFW so, if you work in a more relaxed office, go for it. You haven’t seen anything this strange since Pat Tremblay’s or David Hasselhoff’s “Hooked on a Feelin‘” video.

What’s it about? Okay, here is the official synopsis.

Synopsis: Broadcasting through a makeshift network of discarded televisions, this story is tangled up in the aftermath of Los Angeles’s worst earthquake nightmare. Travel between screens and aftershocks into the twisted lives of the survived.

KUSO from “steve” (Flying Loutus, aka Steven Ellison), is making its World Premiere at the Sundance Film Festival Midnight program on Saturday January 21st. The experimental first feature from his newly formed Brainfeeder Films is a mix of live action, puppetry and animation with a cast that includes Hannibal Buress, George Clinton (yes THAT George Clinton), Anders Holm (Workaholics), Tim Heidecker (of [adult swim] “Tim & Eric fame), Zack Fox better known as internet personality Bootymath, and rapper/actress The Buttress. Ellison co-wrote the script with Zack Fox and English writer/animator David Firth (creator of U.K. flash animation series phenom “Salad Fingers”). The film includes new original music from acts like Aphex Twin, Thundercat, Kamasi Washington, Akira Yamoaka, and more;  XYZ and CAA are handing sales.
