Horror Boy Productions has released the trailer for Little Pet, a psychological horror feature from writer-director Alex Gruenenfelder that blends the L.A. fetish scene with body horror and a darkly reimagined Golden Girls theme song.

The film follows a submissive woman in a controlling relationship whose life is turned inside out after a mysterious dog bite. Set against the backdrop of the Los Angeles fetish scene, the bite awakens a violent, animalistic side that transforms her pursuit of liberation into a deadly rampage. Little Pet stars Vivian Tran in her feature debut, alongside newcomer John Lauri and YouTube personality Brittany Joyal.

Gruenenfelder, whose slasher short The Saga of Psycho Girl (2019) earned festival recognition, makes his feature directing debut here. Music plays a dynamic role throughout: the film’s original score was composed by Andy Garfield (Hatchet, Hatchet II, Frozen), and the soundtrack features four recordings by the late Andrew Gold, including two versions of his iconic “Thank You for Being a Friend” and the beloved novelty track “Spooky Scary Skeletons.” Little Pet has already collected a handful of festival laurels, including nominations for Best Feature Film at the North Film Festival Barcelona and Best Horror Feature at the Los Angeles Fantasy Fest.
