Evil Twin, the horror imprint of Zando Projects, has announced the October 6, 2026 paperback release of MORSELS, a supernatural horror novel from queer author Abe Moss. The book marks Moss’s first traditionally published title and includes an exclusive bonus chapter not found in the original self-published edition.

MORSELS follows Connie, whose boyfriend Evan has warned her that his family is cold and difficult. When the couple arrives at the family’s ritzy woodland summer home, his parents turn out to be warm and welcoming — far too warm. While helping prepare dinner, Connie hears strange noises from the basement that might be voices calling out for help. Once she opens that door and descends into the darkness below, everything changes. The cheerful people posing as Evan’s family are neither cheerful nor human, and Connie must draw on every mental and physical tool from her traumatic past to survive what’s wearing their skin.

The novel is a relentlessly paced hybrid of body horror and psychological dread — stocked with gore, skin suits, cannibal children, and demonic spider limbs — while maintaining an emotional core about overcoming trauma and protecting the people we love. Moss has been publishing horror fiction independently for years. MORSELS was originally self-published in June 2024 and built a devoted genre following before Evil Twin brought it to traditional publishing. The new edition is expanded with an exclusive bonus chapter, and Moss is available for interview.

MORSELS by Abe Moss arrives October 6, 2026 from Evil Twin in paperback ($18.00, 320 pages).
