Matthew Lillard’s Find Familiar Spirits, the company behind the fan-favorite Quest’s End Whiskey, has unveiled its first-ever cask strength release—Monk. The limited-edition whiskey launches November 13, with an exclusive presale for mailing list members on November 12. Arriving just before the holiday season, Monk marks the next entry in Quest’s End’s ongoing fantasy saga and the debut of its “Class Collection” series.
This new release bridges the gap between high-end spirits and the passionate gaming community. “With Monk, we are pushing the boundaries even further,” said Master Blender Molly Troupe. “Since the monk in our story channels volcanic energy and purity in his devotion, we created a fiery, cask strength whiskey that reflects that character.”
Monk: Flavor and Story
Monk delivers a rich and powerful tasting experience with notes of black cherry, toasted barley, and sun-kissed orange. On the palate, hints of vanilla, baked granola, and plum build into a warm, aromatic finish. As a cask strength expression, Monk presents whiskey enthusiasts with an unfiltered and immersive experience.
Each bottle continues the brand’s tradition of pairing storytelling with craftsmanship. The new chapter of Quest’s End’s fantasy saga, Dawn of the Unbound Gods, written by Andrea Stewart (The Drowning Empire trilogy), accompanies every bottle. Artwork from renowned fantasy illustrator Tyler Jacobson completes the presentation.
Monk will be available in limited quantities through Find Familiar Spirits beginning November 13, making it a standout gift for collectors, whiskey fans, and tabletop players alike.
