Roger’s Gardens has opened Moonlight Masquerade, its 2026 Halloween Boutique, at its Corona del Mar location across from Fashion Island. The immersive seasonal installation is free, open to the public, and running daily from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
This year’s theme takes its cue from Venice after dark. Guests enter beneath the Bridge of Sighs and follow candlelight into the Palazzo of Whispers, moving through six distinct environments. The Gilded Vestibule opens with a life-size gilded mask. The Serpent’s Soirée puts a massive serpent overhead, watching the entertaining pieces below. In the Veiled Gallery, seven-foot veiled stone figures stand guard over a collection of masks and dramatic wearables. The Monarch Salon fills a columned room with butterflies and one particularly grumpy pumpkin. The Hall of Relics runs a monumental archway of gilded bones into a chamber of skeletons, serpents, and shadowed paintings. The Crystal Atrium closes things out under a canopy of shimmering crystal webbing with something crawling overhead.

For Southern California horror fans, this is a fixture. The Halloween Boutique draws more than 100,000 visitors across September and October, and this year marks more than three decades of the theatrical retail tradition.
“Moonlight Masquerade captures the opulence, intrigue, and haunting beauty of a Venetian masquerade,” said Crystal Pfeifer, Holiday Buyer and Home Décor at Roger’s Gardens. “Every room has been designed to transport guests into another world.”
The concept comes from Vice President of Merchandising Hedda Staines and Pfeifer, with the environments built by a visual merchandising team led by Director of Design Christopher Nichols and Senior Visual Coordinator Emily Morgan. The team begins hand-crafting original props each April, and many of those pieces are available for purchase alongside more than 500 curated products.
Moonlight Masquerade is open now at Roger’s Gardens, 2301 San Joaquin Hills Road, Corona del Mar, California. Details at rogersgardens.com.
