Six Flags Magic Mountain has unveiled the full lineup for Fright Fest Presented by SNICKERS® 2026, headlined by Final Destination: Death’s Playground — the world’s first theme park haunt based on the Final Destination horror franchise. The event runs on select nights from September 18 through November 1, for a total of 25 nights.

The centerpiece new maze puts guests inside a series of gruesome, inescapable disaster scenarios based on New Line Cinema’s long-running franchise. Death isn’t random in this one — it’s calculated — and guests have already disrupted a design set in motion. Joining the new Final Destination experience is Wolves Blood, an original haunted maze designed by Gus Krueger (a veteran of Knott’s Scary Farm) that follows a werewolf rock band hosting a violent, blood-soaked debut performance in the isolated town of Daylight’s End. The maze concludes at a live performance space deep inside the experience.

Returning mazes include The Conjuring Universe — receiving a major overhaul with new design elements and the addition of franchise entities The Crooked Man and The Ferryman — as well as Trick ‘r Treat (based on Michael Dougherty’s cult Halloween classic), Carnage (presented by M&M’S®), Vault 666, and Willoughby’s Resurrected.

All seven scare zones return: Thunderbolt Alley (expanded with new set pieces), Nightmares: Reign of Blood (featuring new character interactions), City Under Siege, Plaza de La Muerte, Devil’s Triangle, Exile Hill, and Underworlds of Oz.

Live entertainment gets a significant upgrade as well. A brand-new opening spectacle called Unleashed introduces Kurvatu, Fright Fest’s new original icon character. NyteWalkerz — billed as the largest production ever staged at the Full Throttle Stage — brings acrobatics, dance, and BMX stunt work to the event. Sliders of the Night: Dreams of the Damned returns with a revamped format, and Margo Rita’s Monster Ball moves to the Gearworks Theatre with new characters and storylines.

Haunted maze admission requires a Haunted Attractions Pass in addition to general park entry. Season Passholders can purchase an all-season upgrade. Fright Fest runs Thursdays through Sundays, with the park open for daytime operations on select calendar days.

Tickets, season passes, and upgrades are available now at sixflags.com/magicmountain. Fright Fest is not recommended for children 12 and under.
