SCREAMBOX has announced that YELLOW EYES, a new supernatural horror film from director Jesse Korman, will stream exclusively on the platform beginning August 18. The 86-minute feature stars Nena Martins and Michael Kunicki in a slow-burn tale of demonic possession driven by desire.

YELLOW EYES centers on Brad, who inherits his late uncle’s deteriorating home only to discover an ancient demonic idol hidden within its walls. What seems like a strange relic quickly proves more sinister — the idol begins to exert a seductive hold over Brad, turning his eyes an unnatural yellow as a mysterious black oil spreads through the house. As the influence bleeds outward to those around him, Brad’s wife Julia races to understand what’s happening to the man she loves, uncovering an ancient entity that feeds on humanity’s darkest impulses and demands blood to survive.

The film is directed by Jesse Korman from a screenplay by Mickey Solis, and produced by Joe Swanberg (Happy Christmas, Drinking Buddies) and Ben Gojer. The cast includes Nena Martins, Michael Kunicki, Jimmy Chung, Margo O’Connell, and DeVaughn Loman.

SCREAMBOX, Cineverse’s horror streaming arm, is home to genre hits including Terrifier 2, Terrifier 3, and Black Christmas, and is available via iOS, Android, Prime Video, YouTube TV, Comcast, Cox, and screambox.com.
