Get Super Rad’s latest feature, So Fades the Light, will debut on digital platforms June 24. The film follows Sun (Kiley Lotz), once revered as a “God Child” inside The Iron and Fire Ministry—a militant cult dismantled in a deadly police siege 15 years ago. Now living out of a weather-worn van, Sun returns to the abandoned compound seeking closure, unaware that the sect’s imprisoned leader (D. Duke Solomon) has also been released and is heading to the same place.

Co-written and directed by Rob Cousineau and Chris Rosik, the thriller features a predominantly LGBTQ cast and crew, including indie musicians Kiley Lotz (Petal) and Anika Pyle. So Fades the Light continues Get Super Rad’s mission to craft project-specific stories without a fixed visual formula—an approach the Detroit-based collective has honed since its 2013 founding, with prior features Future and The Russian Five.
