A new psychological horror-thriller is heading to London this month. The Troll, written, directed, and starring Brianna Lee (The Professional, A Sea Cliff Story) in her feature directorial debut, will make its world premiere at the 34th Raindance Film Festival on June 20, 2026. Lee has also earned a nomination for Best Performance in a Debut Feature, recognizing her dual role in front of and behind the camera.

The Troll centers on Killa B, a massively successful TikTok superstar whose entire identity is built on the admiration of millions of followers. When a persistent online troll sets their sights on her, Killa B goes on the offensive — tracking down the person behind the screen and infiltrating their personal life. What begins as an act of self-preservation gradually becomes something far darker, as her campaign to destabilize the troll’s family exposes the true psychological cost of living your life in public.
The film arrives at Raindance with a new trailer, timed to coincide with the festival announcement. The 34th Raindance Film Festival runs June 17–26 in London and remains the UK’s largest independent film festival, with a reputation for championing bold emerging voices in genre cinema.
The Troll premieres at Raindance on June 20, 2026. Full festival information and tickets are available at raindance.eventive.org.
