Zombie Joe’s Underground Theatre Group will present a new immersive horror attraction this spring with ZJU The Boardgame: A Playable Immersive Experience, running select nights from March 20 through April 11, 2026 in North Hollywood.

The interactive theatrical event places audience members inside a life-sized board game where participants must navigate a series of dark environments while competing to reach the finish line. Guided by an enigmatic figure known as the BoardMaster, players face obstacles and encounters designed to test their strategy and survival instincts.

Directed by Brandon Slezak and David Dickens and produced by Zombie Joe, the production features performances from Dickens, Leila Elihu, Alex Kantarelis, Chaney Kliewer, Erin Martinez, Ian Michaels, Slezak, Mike Whittier, and Max Zumstein.

The experience runs approximately 30 minutes and is intended for guests aged 18 and older due to mature themes. Performances will take place on Friday and Saturday evenings with multiple timed entry slots beginning at 8:30 p.m.

The production will be staged at the company’s theatre space located at 4850 Lankershim Boulevard in North Hollywood. Advance tickets are available online, with additional tickets offered at the door when available.

Known for experimental stage productions and immersive horror experiences, Zombie Joe’s Underground Theatre Group continues its exploration of interactive storytelling with this latest project.
