The much-anticipated teaser trailer for Squid Game Season 2 was revealed at Lucca Comics & Games, Europe’s largest Comic Con, drawing tens of thousands of fans eager for a glimpse of what lies ahead. The event featured special appearances from stars Lee Jung-jae, Wi Ha-jun, and director Hwang Dong-hyuk, heightening the excitement surrounding the new season.

First released in 2021, Squid Game shattered records to become Netflix’s most popular series ever, a feat achieved in just 12 days. The show remained a fixture on the Global Top 10 for nine weeks straight, a milestone for a non-English series, and won multiple Emmys, setting a new standard for international television success.

Season 2 promises to escalate the tension and drama. Lee Jung-jae returns as Seong Gi-hun, also known as Player 456. Hardened by past experiences, Gi-hun is determined to reveal the truth behind the deadly games. However, his warnings go unheard, and distrust brews among the other players. Lee Byung-hun reprises his role as the enigmatic Front Man, whose true motives are still shrouded in mystery.
