Black Coppice Films has announced the upcoming VOD release of BLOOD WITCH, a new supernatural slasher written, directed, and produced by Chris Shane Sanders, arriving on major digital platforms in late April 2026.
BLOOD WITCH weaves a dark tale of generational vengeance rooted in one of history’s most brutal injustices. Centuries after a mother and daughter are executed for witchcraft, the pair are resurrected in the modern day — their rage intact and their purpose singular. They begin a methodical hunt for the living descendants of those who sent them to the stake, leaving a trail of gruesome disappearances in their wake. Two determined journalists, drawn into the widening mystery, find themselves unraveling a terrifying legacy that was buried for centuries and should have stayed that way.
Leading the cast is rising horror presence Amber Doig-Thorne (Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey), who brings a seasoned edge to the supernatural proceedings. Sanders, serving as writer, director, and producer, draws on folk horror traditions to craft what looks to be a grimly atmospheric entry in the witchcraft subgenre.
BLOOD WITCH is produced by Black Coppice Films, an independent production company dedicated to high-concept genre storytelling with an emphasis on grit and atmosphere in the indie horror space.
BLOOD WITCH arrives on major VOD platforms in late April 2026.
