Located next to Monsters Unchained: The Frankenstein Experiment, the upcoming coaster will introduce guests to an entirely new story inspired by the iconic Universal Monsters franchise. While specific details about the ride experience remain under wraps, the attraction will add another thrill ride to one of Epic Universe’s five themed worlds.
The announcement is part of a larger lineup of new experiences planned across Universal Orlando Resort. Over the next year, guests can also look forward to a reimagined Universal Horror Make-Up Show featuring Blumhouse, opening later this year at Universal Studios Florida, and Fast & Furious: Hollywood Drift, scheduled to open at the park in 2027.
Additional upcoming projects include a new signature full-service restaurant in Jurassic Park at Universal Islands of Adventure, also planned for 2027, and Luke Combs’ Category 10, a new music and entertainment venue coming to Universal CityWalk in late 2027.
For Universal Monsters fans like us, the addition of another attraction to Dark Universe is certainly one to watch. Universal says more information about the indoor coaster will be revealed at a later date. Until then, guests can keep an eye on the growing lineup of experiences coming to Universal Orlando Resort.
