This summer, the sun doesn’t set on The Purge as a set of marauders decides the event is here to stay…permanently. The Purge doesn’t stop at daybreak and continues on in The Forever Purge. The film hits theaters 4th of July weekend, but to gear up for the film drop don your Purge mask and check out the poster and trailer below!

Synopsis: Adela (Ana de la Reguera) and her husband Juan (Tenoch Huerta) live in Texas, where Juan is working as a ranch hand for the wealthy Tucker family. Juan impresses the Tucker patriarch, Caleb (Will Patton), but that fuels the jealous anger of Caleb’s son, Dylan (Josh Lucas). On the morning after The Purge, a masked gang of killers attacks the Tucker family—including Dylan’s wife (Cassidy Freeman), and his sister (Leven Rambin), forcing both families to band together and fight back as the country spirals into chaos and the United States begins to disintegrate around them.

The Forever Purge - Official Trailer [HD]
It was only a matter of time before partakers in The Purge decide to keep the fun going all year. I will confess I have not seen all The Purge films. They lost their zest after a while in my opinion. But The Forever Purge shows a bit of dystopian-like promise, like Mad Max with some cowboy hats and bunny masks. It might be worth checking out if for no other reason than this might be the final installment of The Purge series because really where do you go from here? What better way to spend the weekend holiday celebrating America’s independence than by watching a film about its violent descent into dystopia!

Directed by Everardo Gout and written by James DeMonaco, The Forever Purge stars Ana de la Reguera (Cowboys and Aliens), Tenoch Huerta (Days of Grace), Josh Lucas (Ford v Ferrari), Cassidy Freeman (HBO’s The Righteous Gemstones), Leven Rambin (The Hunger Games), Alejandro Edda (Narcos: Mexico), and Will Patton (Halloween). This summer all bets are off. Let The Forever Purge commence… no one is safe.
