After breaking through the airlock of virtual reality and topping VR sales charts late last year, Alien: Rogue Incursion – Part One is ready to infect a whole new frontier. Today, Survios and 20th Century Games announced Alien: Rogue Incursion – Part One: Evolved Edition, bringing the terrifying action-horror experience to PlayStation 5 and PC on September 30, 2025.

For fans of the Alien franchise, this means one thing: the fight for survival just got even more intense—and more accessible.

No Headset? No Problem.

Alien: Rogue Incursion Evolved Edition | PS5 & PC Announce Trailer

Originally launched in December 2024 as a VR-exclusive title, Alien: Rogue Incursion quickly earned critical acclaim and commercial success for its immersive horror, atmospheric storytelling, and a bold original take on the Alien mythos. Now, Survios is ready to reintroduce the game for traditional screens, ensuring more fans can join the nightmare.

Set to launch at $29.99 for the Standard Edition and $39.99 for the Deluxe, the Evolved Edition delivers enhanced visuals and even deadlier Xenomorph behavior, tailored specifically for the PS5 and PC experience.

You can wishlist the game now on Steam and the PlayStation Store, with more platform-specific features to be revealed in the months ahead.

“As a team that truly loves Alien, we’re incredibly proud of the immersive original story we’ve told with Alien: Rogue Incursion,” said TQ Jefferson, Chief Product Officer at Survios. “Following our great start on VR platforms, we’re excited to bring the Evolved Edition to PC and PS5 later this year so that fans of Aliencan experience Zula’s journey wherever they prefer to play.”

A New Breed of Terror

In Alien: Rogue Incursion, players step into the boots of rogue Colonial Marine Zula Hendricks, sent to investigate a remote planet—LV-354—after a mysterious distress signal. Her mission leads her to Castor’s Cradle, a sprawling and desolate research facility owned by Gemini Exoplanet Solutions. She’s not alone. And what’s in there… is evolving.

With her synthetic companion Davis 01 by her side and classic tools like the Pulse Rifle and Motion Tracker, Zula must navigate a facility that’s already been overrun by the ultimate predator. The deeper she goes, the more she learns about the fate of the crew—and the darker secrets buried beneath Castor’s Cradle.

Now, players without VR can finally uncover those same secrets and face the same heart-pounding encounters. With fluid controls, reworked visuals, and full support for modern console hardware, the Evolved Edition transforms the immersive terror of the original into a fast-paced, visually stunning horror shooter.

What’s New in the Evolved Edition?

Survios isn’t just porting the game—they’re upgrading it. While specific enhancements are still under wraps, the studio has confirmed:

  • Improved enemy AI for Xenomorphs, making each encounter deadlier.

  • Graphical upgrades designed for PS5 and high-end PC rigs.

  • Deluxe Edition content, details TBA.

This release follows Survios’ ongoing track record of adapting iconic IPs into engaging interactive experiences—from Creed: Rise to Glory to The Walking Dead Onslaught—but Alien: Rogue Incursion is arguably their most ambitious project to date. It’s the first Alien game in years to focus solely on single-player horror, and now that horror is heading to the big screen.

Alien: Rogue Incursion – Part One: Evolved Edition launches September 30, 2025, for PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam, priced at $29.99 (Standard) and $39.99 (Deluxe). Wishlist it today and prepare to return to the shadows.
