Independent filmmaker Christopher M. Long has announced FLAMETHROWER, a thriller-horror feature now in early development. Drawing on gritty 1980s exploitation cinema, the story follows a masked vigilante pursuing those who covered up a lethal arson case.

To preview the project’s synth-driven atmosphere and neon-soaked visuals, Long has released a multi-part proof-of-concept series on YouTube. The videos highlight a blend of dark mystery, action, and horror designed to evoke classic retro suspense while delivering a modern, fast-paced narrative.
Viewers can track production milestones, casting news, and behind-the-scenes content through the film’s official YouTube channel as financing and pre-production advance.
