Universal Orlando Resort has unveiled the first details for the 35th anniversary of Halloween Horror Nights, which will run select nights from August 28 through November 1, 2026, at Universal Studios Florida.

This year’s milestone event will be themed “Infernal Carnival of Nightmares,” transforming the park into a decaying carnival setting filled with haunted houses, scare zones, and live entertainment inspired by both the event’s history and major horror influences.

Dr. Oddfellow

Jack the Clown
Leading the celebration are two of the event’s most recognizable characters: Jack the Clown and Dr. Oddfellow. Known for their long-standing rivalry within the mythology of Halloween Horror Nights, the two icons will appear together as ringmasters of the event’s twisted carnival theme. This marks the first time the characters have joined forces as part of a central storyline.
One of the original haunted houses announced for the event, “Jack & Oddfellow: Chaos & Control,” will explore the origins of the characters’ conflict. The attraction will place guests inside their escalating struggle for power, revealing how chaos and control collide before the adversaries discover that working together may serve their ambitions better than fighting each other.
Alongside the event announcement, Universal Orlando Resort has released the first items from the 2026 Halloween Horror Nights merchandise collection. Apparel and themed items featuring Jack the Clown and Dr. Oddfellow are now available at select retail locations within the park and through the official online store.
Additional details about the haunted houses, scare zones, and ticket offerings for Halloween Horror Nights 35 will be revealed in the coming months.
