Few musicians have left as much of an imprint on both music and horror culture as Ozzy Osbourne. This Halloween season, Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal Orlando Resort will celebrate that legacy with an all-original Halloween Horror Nights haunted house, “Ozzy Osbourne: Prince of Darkness,” opening August 28 in Orlando and September 3 in Hollywood.

Designed as a tribute to Osbourne’s 45-year solo career, the experience invites guests aboard the legendary Crazy Train for a journey through imagery inspired by his music, album artwork, and stage persona. Throughout the haunted house, guests will encounter scenes influenced by albums including Blizzard of Ozz, Diary of a Madman, Bark at the Moon, No More Tears, Scream, and Ordinary Man, accompanied by music from those releases.

According to Sharon and Jack Osbourne, the haunted houses reflect Ozzy’s creativity and offer fans a new way to experience the worlds inspired by his music. They noted that the attraction captures many recognizable moments from his career and serves as a fitting tribute to the artist.

While both coasts share the same overall theme, each version offers its own interpretation of Ozzy’s career. At Universal Studios Hollywood, guests begin in Birmingham, England, before traveling through different eras of Ozzy’s life and career. The experience includes locations inspired by Diary of a Madman as well as appearances from several versions of Ozzy, including Madman Ozzy, Werewolf Ozzy, and the Prince of Darkness persona.

At Universal Orlando Resort, the haunted house takes guests through ancient ruins and dark dungeons before boarding the Crazy Train into environments inspired by album covers including Diary of a Madman, Bark at the Moon, The Ultimate Sin, and Black Rain. The attraction focuses on the darker visual style that became a hallmark of Osbourne’s later solo career while incorporating hidden details and references for longtime fans to discover.

Universal also announced a collection of limited-release merchandise tied to the attraction. The lineup includes a commemorative T-shirt and an Ozzy acrylic figure compatible with the separately sold Infernal Carnival collectible display. The merchandise is available now at the Universal parks and will be released on shopUniversal beginning July 30.

With music, memorable imagery, and nods spanning decades of Ozzy Osbourne’s solo career, “Ozzy Osbourne: Prince of Darkness” adds another original experience to this year’s Halloween Horror Nights lineup. Fans of heavy metal, horror, and immersive attractions will have the opportunity to step inside a haunted house celebrating one of the genre’s most recognizable figures when the events begin later this summer.
