Universal Studios is bringing one of horror’s most recognizable slashers back to life. Beginning August 29 at Universal Orlando Resort and September 4 at Universal Studios Hollywood, Halloween Horror Nights guests will step into “Jason Universe,” an all-original haunted house that revisits the formative grounds of Camp Crystal Lake.

Developed in partnership with Horror, Inc., the attraction pays tribute to 45 years of Friday the 13th lore. Visitors will navigate a decrepit summer-camp lodge, Jason’s isolated cabin, and a shadowy forest while reliving signature moments from the films. “It’s a visceral homecoming for one of horror’s most enduring icons,” said Robert Barsamian, President of Horror, Inc., noting that the experience combines decades of mythology with Universal’s cinematic set design.

Tickets for Halloween Horror Nights are on sale now. Orlando’s event runs 48 select nights through November 2 and features 10 haunted houses, scare zones, and live shows. Upgrades—including Express Passes, R.I.P. Tours, and Behind the Screams: Unmasking the Horror Tours—are available alongside stay-and-scream vacation packages that bundle hotel accommodations with daytime park entry.
