Filmmaker Josh Lobo is returning to the director’s chair with Night After Night, a genre-bending sci-fi thriller that brings together a notable cast including Johnny Sibilly (Hacks, Queer As Folk), Alexis Louder (Copshop, The Changeling), and Trace Lysette (Monica, Hustlers). The film also stars AJ Bowen (You’re Next), Scott Poythress (I Trapped The Devil), Horace Gold, Melissa and Michelle Macedo, and Jennifer Blair.
Written by Lobo and Rowan Russell, Night After Night centers on two overnight security guards working at a private university. Their routine takes a strange turn when they begin encountering a mute figure who reappears each night without explanation, triggering a gradual breakdown in their perception of reality.
This marks Lobo’s second feature film following his 2019 debut I Trapped The Devil. He reunites with actor Scott Poythress for the project. Composer Simon Waskow (Cuckoo) is on board to score the film.
The film is produced by Russell, Lobo, Alex Dandino, Bruno Corbin, and Logan Taylor under the Restricted Pictures banner. Additional production support comes from A Group of Ferrets’ David Hopwood, Michael Dwyer, and Corey Moosa, along with executive producers Jiarui Guo, Yuwei Du of Incandescent Pictures, Roy Hsu, Alexis Louder (via Azaziah Productions), Ethan Aurand, Michael Browne, and Frankie Seratch.
