Glass Eye Pix has announced the completion of principal photography on LARRY FESSENDEN’S TRAUMA OR, MONSTERS ALL, the eighth feature from filmmaker Larry Fessenden. The film now enters post-production.

Functioning as a direct sequel to Fessenden’s previous works Habit (1995), Depraved (2019), and Blackout (2023), the new feature brings together three of the director’s most iconic characters: Sam (Fessenden), the vampire from Habit; Adam (Alex Breaux), the Frankenstein-like creation from Depraved; and Charley Barrett (Alex Hurt), the werewolf featured in Blackout. The film is positioned as a contemporary homage to Universal Pictures’ monster crossover era, specifically referencing House of Frankenstein and House of Dracula.

TRAUMA OR, MONSTERS ALL introduces Laëtitia Hollard in her first feature role, alongside Aitana Doyle. The cast also includes Fessenden regulars such as Addison Timlin, James Le Gros, and John Speredakos. Horror mainstay Barbara Crampton and actor Joshua Leonard also appear, the latter stepping out of retirement for the project.

The film was shot in Upstate New York, using the fictional town of Talbot Falls—introduced in Blackout—as its setting. Cinematography was led by Sharif El Neklawy over a three-month production period.

Fessenden, who has long used genre storytelling to explore existential and social themes, stated, “It was a slightly absurd mission to present my existential take on these monsters in a contemporary mash-up, but I enjoyed the challenge and I hope the film will feel both familiar and provocative.”

The project is produced by Fessenden, Gaby Leyner, James Felix McKenney, and Tilson Allen-Merry for Glass Eye Pix, along with Stirling duBell and Chris Ingvordson. Edwin Linker serves as executive producer.
