NetEase Games has released a new gameplay trailer for Sea of Remnants, offering a closer look at the ocean-fantasy open-world RPG ahead of its planned 2026 launch on PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam. Developed by Joker Studio, the game places players in the role of a puppetfolk sailor who awakens without memories and must survive across dangerous seas.
According to the announcement, players will explore an expansive open world, engage in sea monster battles, customize their fleet, and build relationships with more than 300 companions. Choices made throughout the game influence the development of Orbtopia, a pirate city that evolves based on player decisions.
The newly released trailer highlights open-world exploration, naval combat, encounters with unusual creatures, and a selection of mini-games found throughout Orbtopia. Alongside the trailer, NetEase Games confirmed the upcoming “Wanderer Test,” a small-scale Closed Alpha Test scheduled to run on PC from February 5 through February 12.
