XYZ Films and Project Infinity have announced the start of production on BANQUET, the latest supernatural thriller from The Platform director Galder Gaztelu-Urrutia. The film, now shooting in the UK, has added Corey Mylchreest, Alfie Williams, Finbar Lynch, and Olwen Fouéré to a cast led by Meghann Fahy.

Written by Sam Steiner (Fingernails), BANQUET is produced by Lewis Taylor for Magna Studios, Maxime Cottray and Guy Danella of XYZ Films, and Leonora Darby and James Harris of Teashop Productions (Obsession). Grant S. Johnson of Project Infinity (100 Nights of Hero, May December, The Assessment) joins as producer, with Project Infinity and XYZ Films co-financing. CAA Media Finance and WME Independent are representing U.S. rights alongside XYZ.

The production also includes notable executive producers David Yates (Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows), through his banner Wychwood Media, and Florian Zeller (The Father) with Federica Sainte-Rose for Blue Morning Pictures.

Mylchreest, best known for his role as Young King George III in Netflix’s Queen Charlotte, recently appeared in Hostage and on stage in King Lear. Williams, recognized for his breakout role in 28 Years Later, continues his collaboration with Danny Boyle in the upcoming 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple. Lynch and Fouéré add extensive experience in film, television, and theatre, rounding out an international ensemble for Gaztelu-Urrutia’s latest feature.
BANQUET marks another collaboration between XYZ Films and Project Infinity, both of which continue to deliver genre-driven films featuring acclaimed casts and directors.
