Bit Bot and Raven Banner have announced a limited edition Blu-ray release of Shrine of Abominations, the acclaimed stop-motion horror fantasy from artist Skinner and filmmaker Ross Kennedy. The collector’s edition features an exclusive holographic O-card and is available now through the Raven Banner store.

Shrine of Abominations unfolds within a dark, otherworldly realm sculpted by arcane forces, delivering a visually striking journey through cosmic horror, heavy-metal fantasy aesthetics, and surreal creature design. Drawing from the legacy of Ray Harryhausen and classic fantasy illustration, Kennedy and Skinner built the film using painstaking stop-motion animation, practical creature effects, and intricately detailed miniature sets — a tactile approach rarely seen in contemporary genre filmmaking.

Originally financed through a successful Kickstarter campaign, the project grew out of Skinner’s internationally recognized visual art career. Known for blending grotesque beauty, psychedelic imagery, and mythic symbolism across fine art, illustration, and collectible design, Skinner brings that same obsessive artistry to every frame of the film.
The limited edition Blu-ray package includes a high-definition presentation of the film in the holographic O-card packaging, celebrating Skinner’s original artwork. The release is aimed at fans of practical effects cinema, dark fantasy, and boutique physical media.
Shrine of Abominations is available now on limited edition Blu-ray through the Raven Banner store at ravenbanner.store.
