The trailer has been released for The Healing, a new horror feature from director Denis Kryuchkov, arriving on digital and DVD October 7, 2024.
The film follows Lyuba, who escapes her abusive husband by joining friends on a retreat that promises renewal. Once there, she encounters unsettling rituals and disturbing visions that begin to unravel the group’s reality. As secrets surface, Lyuba faces a harrowing choice—whether to escape or surrender to the fate awaiting her.
Starring Alena Mitroshina and Wolfgang Czerny, The Healing blends psychological tension with ritualistic horror, exploring themes of survival, control, and personal transformation. The release places the film alongside recent folk-inspired horror stories that draw on isolation, community, and the unsettling power of ritual.
