Universal Destinations & Experiences (UDX) has unveiled plans for Universal Horror Unleashed, a year-round immersive horror experience, set to open in Las Vegas in 2025. As the creators of the popular Halloween Horror Nights, UDX aims to bring horror enthusiasts a continuous spectacle featuring four haunted houses, each inspired by some of the most iconic and terrifying stories in film and entertainment.
The haunted attractions will include Universal Monsters, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Scarecrow: The Reaping, and Blumhouse’s The Exorcist: Believer. Each house will feature intense scenes and immersive storytelling that place guests directly in the path of terror.
The experience will be situated in a darkened warehouse on the outskirts of Las Vegas, anchoring the new 20-acre expansion of AREA15, an immersive entertainment district. In addition to the haunted houses, Universal Horror Unleashed will offer four themed areas with live entertainment, horror-inspired dining and drink options, and continuously updated content, including seasonal events and exclusive merchandise.
Page Thompson, President of New Ventures for UDX, expressed excitement about the upcoming attraction, stating that it will build on Universal’s longstanding legacy in the horror genre. The Creative and Entertainment teams are already at work to ensure an unforgettable horror experience, making Las Vegas a new destination for thrill-seekers.
