Zombie Joe’s Underground Theatre Group will celebrate the 20th anniversary of Urban Death this fall with the return of its immersive attraction Urban Death Tour of Terror: Haunted Theatre Attraction. Running Fridays and Saturdays from October 3 through November 1, 2025, the North Hollywood event blends a haunted maze experience with the theatre group’s signature live performance.

Guests will first navigate a maze populated by otherworldly figures before entering the theatre for a series of wordless vignettes. The show explores unsettling imagery and physical storytelling in a sequence of short, eerie performances. Once the stage portion concludes, visitors will face an entirely new maze filled with unexpected encounters on their way out.
Urban Death Tour of Terror was created by Zombie Joe and Jana Wimer and has appeared internationally, including runs in Edinburgh, New York City, and Cape Town. The show was honored with the Silver Bolo Award for “Excellence in Horror Media” by Joe Bob Briggs’ The Last Drive-In.
This year’s production continues the tradition of experimental horror theatre that Zombie Joe’s Underground has cultivated for two decades, bringing audiences a hybrid experience of live performance and interactive haunt.
