Zombie Joe’s Underground Theatre Group is kicking off its 2025 holiday season with the return of TURKEYS! THE MUSICAL, an offbeat musical-dramedy from writer-composer Ian Michaels. The production runs for two weekends only — November 21 through November 30, 2025 — with performances on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays at 8:30 p.m. at the North Hollywood venue located at 4850 Lankershim Boulevard.
Directed by Denise Devin and produced by Zombie Joe, this year’s revival features choreography by Gina Rizzo Bishop and a talented cast including Katherine Allee, Gina Rizzo Bishop, Luca Fiore, Theresa Ford, Julianne Layden, Julia Linger, Bennett Patera, Elise Walters, and Nick Wray.
TURKEYS! THE MUSICAL follows a village of turkeys in the days leading up to Thanksgiving as they grapple with love, truth, and the unsettling realities of the holiday. Combining sharp humor, original music, and pointed satire, the show brings together elements of comedy and horror for an evening that’s both thought-provoking and irreverent.
The production is recommended for ages 17 and up, due to mature content and what the creators describe as “fowl language” and “triggering turkey-themes.” The theatre is fully wheelchair accessible.
Advance tickets are available for $20 online at ZombieJoes.TIX.com, or $25 at the door.
