Blumhouse and visionary writer-director Leigh Whannell, known for The Invisible Man, have revealed the new trailer for the upcoming film, Wolf Man, hitting theaters on January 17. Starring Golden Globe nominee Christopher Abbott as Blake, a husband and father whose life takes a dark turn, resulting in disturbing changes after returning to his remote childhood home in rural Oregon.

Blake’s father has mysteriously disappeared, leaving the property to him. Struggling with a fraying marriage to Charlotte (Emmy winner Julia Garner), Blake convinces his wife and young daughter to visit the home, where a vicious attack from an unseen creature forces the family into hiding. As the night progresses, Blake begins to exhibit alarming transformations, leading Charlotte to question the true danger they face.

The supporting cast includes Sam Jaeger, Ben Prendergast, Benedict Hardie, and newcomers Zac Chandler and Beatriz Romilly. Directed by Whannell, who co-wrote the screenplay with Corbett Tuck, Wolf Man continues the filmmaker’s collaboration with Blumhouse, produced by Jason Blum and Ryan Gosling.
