Shudder, AMC Networks’ streaming service for horror and thrillers, has announced its acquisition of Push, directed by David Charbonier and Justin Powell (The Boy Behind the Door, Djinn). The film, which premiered at the 2024 Sitges Film Festival, will make its U.S. debut at the Cinequest Film Festival before streaming exclusively on Shudder later this year.
Starring Alicia Sanz (El Cid) and Raúl Castillo (Smile 2), Push centers on pregnant realtor Natalie Flores (Sanz) who is attacked during an open house by a ruthless killer (Castillo). Forced into premature labor, Natalie must fight to survive against the intruder, racing against the clock in a battle of endurance and wits. Produced by Ryan Scaringe and executive produced by Amy Lippens, Jilbert Daniel, Del Charbonier, Sanz, and Castillo, Push promises a tense new look at the home invasion genre.
