GrimmVision, the distribution label of the acclaimed UK genre festival Grimmfest, has announced a spring slate of four horror and thriller features arriving on UK digital platforms between April and May 2026. All four films made their UK premieres at Grimmfest, and each brings something distinct to the table — from screen-life satire to queer supernatural horror to found footage cosmic dread.

Content (April 27) kicks things off. Adam Meilech’s (The Leak, Junk Male) debut feature has been described as “Creep meets Unfriended” — a sinister screen-life horror in which a psychopathic filmmaker stalks and blackmails his actors into starring in their own snuff movie. Scathingly satirical and built for the TikTok age, it received acclaim on the genre circuit including at Grimmfest 2025.

Up next is Self Driver (May 11), the feature debut of writer-director Michael Pierro (Hey, George). A desperate cab driver joins a mysterious money-making app and finds himself drawn into the dark underbelly of society — one ride at a time. Bloody Disgusting called it “Black Mirror meets Taxi Driver in rideshare thriller,” and Dread Central gave it four stars, calling it “one of the smartest and most unique psychological experiences I’ve encountered.”

Shadows of Willow Cabin (UK digital 29 June) is the feature debut of Joe Fria (Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. 2, The Belko Experiment, as actor), who steps behind the camera for a queer supernatural horror about two men whose retreat to a remote cabin stirs buried traumas that manifest as physical phantoms. Macabre Daily praised it as “everything we want from queer horror,” and Queerty called it “a ghost story that works on every level.”

Finally, Tribe (May 25) is Dan Asma’s (Fall) found footage sci-fi chiller in which a retired lecturer, investigating a friend’s mysterious death, uncovers ancient conspiracies, cosmic creatures, and cataclysmic horror buried on old videotapes. Bloody Flicks called it “a mini sci-fi masterpiece,” and Nerdly awarded it four stars, praising its “fantastic and intriguing blend of documentary, found footage horror, and even adventure.”
