MVD Entertainment Group and Troma Entertainment have announced a 4K Ultra HD + Special Edition Blu-ray release of the cult classic Surf Nazis Must Die!, arriving October 13, 2026, packed with bonus materials that celebrate over three decades of this deliriously twisted slice of Troma history.

Surf Nazis Must Die! is a dystopian beach movie that merges post-apocalyptic California chaos with gleeful exploitation grit. Massive earthquakes have devastated Los Angeles, leaving Southern California in anarchy. The Surf Nazis, led by a neo-fascist surfer named Adolf, seize control of the coastline — even rigging their boards with switchblade knives to dominate the waves. But when they target Leroy, the son of Eleanor “Mama” Washington, they make the last mistake of their lives. Mama grabs guns and grenades and heads for the beach.

Directed by Peter George, the film stars Barry Brenner (Maniac Cop), Gail Neely (The Naked Gun 2½: The Smell of Fear), and Robert Harden (Overkill). As the longest-running independent studio in North America, Troma has spent decades championing outsider cinema — from The Toxic Avenger to Cannibal! The Musical — and Surf Nazis Must Die! remains one of its most notorious titles, a cultural sensation during its theatrical run and subsequent airings on USA Network’s Up All Night.

The Special Edition Blu-ray comes loaded with extras, including a Projection Booth Podcast audio interview, the documentary Who Controls The Beaches?!? featuring director Peter George, Waves Are A War Zone (with George and producer Robert Tinnell), deleted scenes, and a slate of classic Troma bonus content.
