Sean Meighen was kind enough to allow me a look at the first issue in its entirety and it was awesome! It was immediately obvious to me that the artist for this series, Alejandro Samada, is hugely inspired by the art of Mike Mignola and, like Mignola, has a great sense of how to create dynamic and impactful action sequences. Sean’s writing is top notch as well with a climax that has me extremely excited for the next chapter. Again, all production for issue #1 is 100% complete. Meaning, once their funding goal is met, you won’t have to wait long to receive the book. These are my favorite types of crowd funded projects.
Again, the HOUNDS OF GOD Kickstarter is live as of this publication and runs until 03/30/2026. This is a perfect book for fans of horror, fantasy, swords and sorcery.
