A new horror comic titled WITHIN has launched a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter from creator Brian Cochran. The project introduces a story rooted in occult horror, drawing on genre traditions while presenting an original narrative centered on inherited consequence and survival.

WITHIN follows the aftermath of a demonic bargain made by Wayne Suffolk, who believed he had found a way to escape its cost. That debt, however, has been redirected to his daughter, whose unborn child is claimed by both Heaven and Hell as something beyond human understanding. As supernatural forces close in and human allies prove unreliable, she is forced into hiding, driven by the belief that her unborn child represents hope rather than corruption.

The story explores themes of parental responsibility, sacrifice, and defiance in the face of cosmic judgment. Determined to protect her child and challenge the fate imposed upon her, the protagonist seeks help from a transient who once aided her father—a man burdened by his own demonic affliction, one that may place her in further danger as the birth approaches.

The WITHIN Kickstarter campaign is currently live, offering readers the opportunity to support the debut of this new horror comic and help bring its first issue to print.
