The new paranormal sci-fi comedy GLITCHED will make its world premiere at this year’s La Femme Film Festival in Los Angeles on Friday, October 17, 2025, at the Regal LA Live. The event kicks off with a red carpet at 5 p.m., followed by the premiere screening at 6 p.m.

Directed by Alaskan filmmaker Zoe Quist, GLITCHED was filmed entirely on location in Ireland, showcasing the country’s striking castles and landscapes in UHD with Dolby Atmos sound. The film stars Mischa Barton (The O.C.), Abigail O’Regan (Spellbound), Donal Brophy (Sleep No More), Jack McEvoy (Vikings), Elijah Rowen (Vikings), and John Connors (Crazy Love, Re-Creation).
The story follows twin siblings who convert their grandmother’s decaying castle into a VR gaming hub. Their digital adventure takes a turn when the game accidentally summons a ghost from the 18th century, triggering a paranormal race to prevent everyone from getting trapped between worlds. Combining comedy, light sci-fi, and family-driven storytelling, GLITCHED explores legacy, technology, and the chaos that ensues when the virtual and the spiritual collide.
Behind the camera, Zoe Quist — known for Raw Cut and Mining for Ruby — directs from a script by Steve Grabowsky. The film is produced by Maria O’Neill p.g.a. (The Black Guelph), Susan Wright p.g.a., and Quist herself. With Irish production partner Bon Films, GLITCHED was crafted with international collaboration at its core. Cinematography is by Aiden Gault, VFX by Glass Knight, and post-production by Raygun, all based in Ireland.
GLITCHED premieres Friday, October 17, at La Femme Film Festival 2025 in Los Angeles.
